Sarah is my partner, we are a blended family. She recently led us to buy our dream home. Here, I am sharing my experience. After having observed her handling deals for other clients, I can guarantee that she offers the same level of care and professionalism throughout.It was my first time purchasing a home. Sarah juggled countless things all happening at once, on a very stringent timeline. We would NOT have made it to closing without Sarah. I knew very little going into the buying process myself as a first-time buyer and I fully entrusted Sarah to lead us on the journey.Sarah was exceptional and invaluable at every single step in the home-buying process. From getting pre-approved to searching for homes. She went out previewing homes for us for weeks while I was busy working. But the real work and harder part came in later after we had identified the home we wanted. Another party wanted the home and we found ourselves in a multiple offer situation with a very difficult For Sale By Owner who had unrealistic expectations about how much his home was worth and the entire sales process. Nevertheless, Sarah managed to get our offer accepted $40,000 off the list price while another offer was on the table.One of the crucial aspects of us getting our “clear to close” was that our offer was contingent on Sarah leasing out her home. This made us both nervous going into the process but Sarah was confident to make this happen. She flawlessly executed a lease on her home within a matter of days of our offer being accepted (as if the process wasn’t already crazy enough that first-week handling inspections and gathering lender documents/creating spreadsheets required by the lender). Sarah took over handling all inspections and negotiations for us as I was leaving town for the weekend and unavailable to be there.After we passed through our option period, Sarah was unintentionally tasked to help me sublease the house I had been renting out. I needed to have as little of a window as possible in new tenants taking over my lease so that I would be out of pocket as little money as possible in making this transition. Sarah was the key player in making all this happen, and she decided to postpone her vacation, while my kids and I were out of town to finalize leasing my house and all necessary follow-ups. Wow! She put me, the children, the deal ahead of her plans to make sure everyone was well cared for. I was amazed by her strength, dedication, follow-through, and make-it-happen attitude - a true leader. Getting my old house rented was an ordeal: We realized the property management company for the house had posted the listing on the MLS but refused to put the listing on Zillow (where Sarah knew most people were searching online) Sarah then took it upon herself to take pictures of the house and post it on Zillow (with the property management company’s permission), where she then proceeded to communicate with and show the house to dozens of potential tenants until it was finally leased. She executed getting a lease signed with just a three-day differential between the day I moved out and the day the new tenants moved in, saving me as much money as she possibly could. Her dedication throughout the entire process without so much as even a second thought or blink of an eye utterly amazed me and gave me respect for her not just as my partner but as the true real estate professional that she is for each of her clients.After this experience, I can genuinely say that Sarah did everything she did because she is an exceptional real estate professional. She cares and does everything from the very best place in her heart. There is only one Sarah Biggerstaff! We really appreciated working with Sarah. She is sharp and experienced, and freely shared her knowledge and judgement with us throughout the process of buying our first home. She has keen attention to detail and took her role of representing us very seriously. In the final stages of the offer she caught some key details in the documents that the sellers' agent changed without disclosing. That was super valuable to us, and we really appreciated it!Also we had a lot of questions after the closing about tax, homestead exemption, escrow, etc, and Sarah was always willing to help even though it wasn't directly related to closing. Sarah has to be one of the best realtors in Austin. She knows the home-buying process inside and out and was great at guiding me through it. I seriously had no idea what an option period was before I met her. She was so helpful and made the process an easy one. I knew too many people who had to meet their realtors in person to sign documents (what year are we living in?!). Sarah, on the other hand, did everything digitally and it was so quick and convenient. She is also amazingly responsive via email, text, and phone. With the market in Austin being as hot as it is, it made quite a difference to be able to text her and schedule a showing immediately. Sarah is such a pleasure to work with too. You can tell that she loves what she does and is so passionate about Austin and helping others find the perfect home. I am pretty sure I can go on and on about why Sarah was the best; I definitely recommend anyone who is looking to purchase a home in Austin to work with Sarah.

Sarah helped my husband and I find our first home and made us feel super at ease with the entire process. Not being super adept in such large investments, she always took the time to answer the smallest questions, leading us to the right places to find answers and making us feel comfortable without any pressure. I first met Sarah in July of 2017 when I traveled to Austin to find a home to purchase in just two short days. My home in Connecticut sold extremely fast, and my timeline to find a new home in Austin where I was moving to was suddenly accelerated (and limited). Sarah’s business partner (who I had made an appointment with) was unable to meet with me as she was unexpectedly called out of town, so Sarah agreed to meet with me with very little notice. We met during the 4th of July week, and I immediately knew I was in amazing (THE BEST) hands. Sarah listened very carefully to what was important to me in my new home and spent two full days showing me properties that met my needs. I put an offer on a beautiful home before I boarded a plane back to Connecticut. Every aspect of my interactions and communications with Sarah resulting in the purchase of this home was completely flawless. And I loved every minute I lived there.Fast forward to March 4, 2020, when I contacted Sarah to put my home on the market. There was not a single doubt in my mind that I would partner with Sarah on the sale of my home. So yes, March 4, the week before the world melted due to COVID-19. Despite the absolute chaos the pandemic created, my home sold in less than a week – thanks to Sarah! Sarah’s consummate professionalism was present every day, in every text, call, and every single interaction. She hired the best photographer to take amazing photos of my home, which showcased it very well in the listing. Unfortunately, numerous COVID-19 related issues took place (including the buyer losing his job and having to backout, to him getting his job back and resubmitting the offer, to me confused and nervous about whether this was the right time to move or to put everything on a temporary hold, etc.), making this deal a very fluent and difficult one. Sarah NEVER wavered and creatively came up with multiple options (including buyer purchasing my home and leasing it back to me). She was calm and collected throughout, even though I know I sure was not! She kept the ball rolling and the relationships open and, when I decided I was ready, Sarah essentially put the train back on the track and everything swiftly and easily fell into place. The buyer already had an inspection and was pre-qualified for a mortgage, so when Sarah reached out to their agent to say I was ready to move forward, I had a contract in my inbox in just a few short hours. The deal closed quickly and without a glitch, and Sarah was by my side every step of the way.I’ve bought and sold (and leased and was a landlord) 16 times in my life, and I have never (EVER!) worked with an agent who was as professional, proactive, friendly, reassuring, calm, and knowledgeable as Sarah Biggerstaff.I highly recommend Sarah Biggerstaff to be your agent – whether you’re buying or selling. She was my agent on both sides, and I honestly could not have been happier with both experiences.

I first connected with Sarah on the strong recommendation of a family friend. We were in the midst of an extremely difficult process of trying to sell our condo, one that had ended up taking several months longer than we initially planned. Having Sarah take over as our agent was the best decision we could have possibly made. Immediately she showcased her knowledge by identifying problems that could be keeping the unit from selling and making suggestions for how to improve them. Sarah was so knowledgeable and a great advocate for us when we bought our house. She really listed to what we wanted and gave us helpful advice when we looking at houses. She had excellent communication, made great recommendations on offers and houses, and negotiated several concessions from our seller.
